The Middle of Everywhere Gippsland Rally is excited to officially announce the BSR Automotive Rally Show. The event will take place on Friday 9 August from 4:00pm at Port of Sale.
All rally cars will be on display for the public to check out, meet the drivers, co-drivers, teams and grab a bite to eat. This will be the ceremonial start of The Middle of Everywhere Gippsland Rally and cars will be flagged away by a government dignitary.
BSR Automotive is a Sale based automotive service and repair shop. Opened in 2020, its a family owned and operated business headed by Ben and Sarah. Ben is a master technician with over two decades of experience, specialising in Ford & Subaru.
BSR Automotive’s range of services ensure they cover all vehicle needs from logbook servicing to ECU remapping, air conditioning service and vehicle diagnostics. And it’s a Hybrid and Electrical vehicle certified workshop.
Ben is a passionate motorsport competitor and feels “…rally hasn’t got the recognition it deserves and we feel that supporting the Rally Show is a good way to get the local community interacting with the sport.
We will do what we can to help young & old to come together, to have fun, to chat and to watch something positive.”
Ben and Sarah are “family with cars in our blood. Our children love anything to do with wheels & ripping through the bush, they enjoy going to the rallies & watching the dirt fly.”
Ben has participated in hillclimbs, rallies & other race events over the years. At the moment he is taking a break from competing to focus on restoring his two Escorts; a MK1 Allan Mann tribute and a MK2 rally car. Both are typical ‘projects in progress’ that are taking to long.
Come to the BSR Automotive Rally Show on Friday 9 August from 4:00pm at Port of Sale. Get close to all the rally cars before they get sent through the forests over the weekend, talk to the drivers, co-drivers and teams, and enjoy the great food from the Berry Dairy and Neirbos Eats.
