2025 ARC calendar confirmed

The 2025 Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship calendar is complete – with six rounds again scheduled for next year’s running of the ARC.

The same six events will return next year, following one of the most memorable seasons to date.

The launch of the calendar coincides with the release of the 2025 Sporting and Technical Regulations which will remain in place for the next three years to provide further certainty for all ARC competitors, as well as those building or purchasing new machines – or those considering which of the ARC Cups they can enter in the years ahead.

Rally of Canberra

In 2025, the season will again get underway with a bang in the nation’s capital – Rally of Canberra to open the season on 21-23 March.

Forest Rally

Round two will take place in Western Australia on 23-25 May – the iconic and popular Forest Rally maintaining its place on the ARC calendar.

Forrest Rally will continue to write further chapters in its history, the long-standing Western Australian fixture to be extended for a further three years.

An event steeped in history, the ARC has held a round in the west every year since 1974 – with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19 – making it the longest-serving event in the championship’s calendar.

Taking place in and around the forests of Nannup and Busselton, Forest Rally has had several homes over its 50 years on the calendar – previously hosted in Mundaring, Collie, Grimwade and Perth.

Rally Queensland

Following the trip west, the ARC campaign turns its attention to the sunshine state – Accent Benchtops Rally Queensland to be held on 4-6 July based in Gympie – an event proving to be more and more popular with locals and visitors alike.

Accent Benchtops Rally Queensland will remain a feature of the ARC calendar going forward, with event organisers and long-time promoters, the Brisbane Sporting Car Club, extending for a further two years.

Much like Forest Rally, Rally Queensland has a long history on ARC calendars – a Queensland event was first introduced in 1968 and more recently reintroduced to the calendar with an enthusiastic welcome from the town of Gympie.

Gippsland Rally

The Championship’s fourth round then takes place in Victoria – The Middle of Everywhere Gippsland Rally on 8-10 August to showcase the best the region has to offer.

The most recent event to take place, competitors battled it out across 16 stages in Heyfield and Gippsland’s surrounding regions, with a season-high 63 crews competing across the weekend.

Fresh off a successful event, Clerk of Course and Event Organiser Andrew Roseman was pleased to confirm Gippsland as the home of the Victorian edition of the ARC in 2025.

“The 2025 event will mark the fourth year that the Gippsland Rally has formed part of the national championship, something we’re incredibly proud to deliver in the region,” Roseman said.

“Last month’s rally was a fantastic event, and we received wonderful feedback from competitors and spectators over the weekend, so we’re excited to be going around for another year.

We think 2025 is going to be bigger and better than ever before and look forward delivering another exceptional event.”

Wellington Shire Mayor Ian Bye enthused, “It is an absolute honour to once again welcome The Middle of Everywhere Gippsland Rally back to our region. We are extremely proud of the strong relationship we’ve built with event organisers, drivers, and spectators, and to once again be the naming rights sponsor of what is widely considered one of Australia’s best-run motorsport events.

We are excited to build on the success of previous years, working with organisers to deliver an event that is not only highly regarded in the motorsport world but also provides an economic boost to our region and a spectacular weekend for our community.”

Adelaide Hills Rally

The penultimate round of the Championship will again take place in South Australia in a familiar timeslot – with the event held on 3-5 October.

Also committing for a further two years, Adelaide Hills Rally organisers have confirmed the event will run through to 2026.

Rally Tasmania

Finishing off the season in style, Rally Tasmania will again host the season finale – the event heading to Burnie for the first time in 2024 and will do so again next season to crown the ARC Champions on 7-9 November.

Motorsport Australia General Manager – Motorsport and Events Adrian Coppin said issuing the 2025 calendar now provided teams plenty of time to prepare for their Championship plans.
